The Floaters Goes Global in April with Fest Screenings from Austria to Iowa
New Premieres, the Stars Sport Camp Daveed at SXSW, and a Red Carpet Invitation
April is Packed: Premieres in Austria, Arizona, Iowa, and Beyond
April and May are shaping up to be the most ambitious stretch of The Floaters festival run yet. The film makes its Arizona Premiere at the Phoenix Film Festival with three consecutive screenings, its Iowa Premiere with two screenings at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, its Austria Premiere at the Vienna Jewish Film festival, and also heads to Sarasota, Winston-Salem, St. Petersburg (Florida), Bridgeport (NJ), Vancouver, Notre Dame, and Winnipeg. Red Carpet Weekend: The Floaters at NOVA Film Fest
The Floaters screens this Friday, April 10 at LOOK Dine-In Cinemas in McLean, VA, followed by a Q&A with producers and Arlington locals Becky and Shai Korman.
Then on Saturday, April 11, come celebrate at the 12th Annual NOVA Fest Awards Ceremony — a red carpet event with interviews starting at 5:30 PM, the ceremony from 7:00–9:00 PM, and an after party. Becky and Shai will attend on behalf of The Floaters fam. Join us as The Floaters takes home eight awards at this year’s NOVA Film Festival, including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor (Seth Green), Best Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Cast Ensemble.
Best Dressed at SXSW: Ashley Moore Rocks Camp Daveed
At SXSW, Ashley Moore, star of Perfect and the upcoming Baywatch reboot, was spotted sporting the Camp Daveed in the Friday Night Movie studio. Safe to say it’s the most fashionable thing at camp (and film festivals) this year.
